Trial and billing
Sign up with a work email and you get fourteen days with up to ten machines and a small BE AI pool, no card. Hosted billing is per named technician seat per month; enrolled machines on the subscription are unlimited. List prices are on the pricing page.
The trial
Verify your email and you are signed in with your first company and its install link. The trial runs for fourteen days. Up to ten machines are covered; an eleventh still enrols and reports, but is marked over trial cap and BE AI does not look at it. A small BE AI pool is included so you can see a diagnosis. Add a payment method at any point; nothing is charged before the trial ends.
When the trial ends
With a payment method on file, billing starts on named technician seats and nothing else changes. Without one, your machines keep reporting and alerts keep delivering, but BE AI, approvals, check pushes, roll-outs and new enrolments pause, and the console is read-only until a payment method is added. Nothing is deleted at the end of a trial.
How seats and runs are billed
A technician seat is a named user who can approve a change or run a mutating action: superadmin, company admin or operator. Each seat includes 500 BE AI runs a month, pooled at the company. When the pool is empty, auto investigations pause; monitoring and the rest of the RMM keep working. Additional BE AI run packs are +500 for US$99 one-time from Billing in the hub; or wait for the monthly reset, or enable overage if you have asked us to. Heartbeats, approvals, scripts, patching and remote control are not runs. Enrolled machines are unlimited — forgetting one in the console takes it out of the fleet, not off a machine invoice. Usage per company is on the Usage page.
Adding a payment method
Billing → add a payment method opens Stripe's hosted checkout. Cards never touch the hub. Address and tax id (ABN) are collected there; GST is applied for Australian customers. Manage cards and invoices opens Stripe's customer portal for card changes, invoice history and cancellation.
If a payment fails
Stripe retries the card over a couple of weeks and emails you. In the console a banner asks for an updated card. Everything keeps working for fourteen days after the failed payment; then BE AI pauses; after fourteen days the account is read-only. Paying the outstanding invoice restores everything immediately.
Cancelling and deletion
Cancel from the portal; billing stops at the end of the period. Agents are told to stop connecting, and the console shows the deletion date fourteen days out. Until then you can export everything as JSON from Billing or add a payment method to restore the account. After that date the organisation, its companies, machines, history and users are deleted permanently.
Self-hosted
The trial and card flow apply to the hosted hub. If you run the hub yourself, capacity is quoted as annual bands (50 / 150 / 500 machines); ask us for a quote.
Try it on one machine first.
The install line takes a minute. Uninstall the agent and you are out.
